Back in April, I posted an article in response to a video series released by the “Restored Church of God“, which supposedly offers proof of God’s existence. I was seriously underwhelmed with the poor quality and (deliberate) misinformation presented in the first episode of that series. So much so that I decided not to watch the rest of it. I advise other people to stay well away from this series. Instead, you can enjoy it in an alternative way, watching as Aron Ra demolishes David C. Pack.
An excellent article by Dan Wall, over on northierthanthou, about Christian apologists making up rumours about Christopher Hitchens maybe having a deathbed conversion. We’ve been hearing about this since Charles Darwin supposedly had one. Anyway, over to Dan.
I stumbled upon an absolute gem of a video series on YouTube. It is called “Does God Exist? – Many absolute proofs!” and is a production of the Restored Church of God. The series is presented by a man called David C. Pack, who is Pastor General at the Restored Church of God. Does this series contain the many absolute proofs of the existence of God? Prepare to be seriously underwhelmed.
Regular visitors will know that I like to answer those “question for atheists” articles. Sometimes these are well thought out questions that show insight and a quest for understanding. Others are simply evidence of atrocious reasoning powers, lack of scientific knowledge and/or baseless presuppositions. I’m afraid this article falls into the last category.
When I named this blog “Random musings, rambling opinions”, I was serious. So I bring you all kinds of interesting (hopefully) posts, ranging from how to secure your computer, to things about atheism, dinosaurs and now smartphone battery myths. Hope this helps someone!
Over just a few years, the batteries in our smartphones have changed a lot. That means those old tips to stretch out your battery life just aren’t as true as they once were, yet we still share them like they’re gospel. Before telling someone to disable Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, let’s shed some light on those old myths.
This is the fourth article of an intended series in which I will explain why I am an atheist. The first part can be found here, the second part is here and the third part is here. Much of this is based on my own, personal thoughts and experiences with religion, mostly Christianity, because that is the religion I have been exposed to the most. While this is not intended as an attack on people of faith, you may wish to stop reading if you can’t handle opposing viewpoints very well or if you don’t like your faith challenged. This fourth article will look closer at religious morals.

A link to a very good article that I found in the Twitter feed of Ah Science!, answering Creationists wrong, biased, misinformed and deceptive objections to evolution. Good read!
Opponents of evolution want to make a place for creationism by tearing down real science, but their arguments don’t hold up
